Pile it On
If there’s one things that ski moms know, it’s how to layer. I’ve dressed little people to ski in sub zero temperatures with frost bite warnings nailed to the chair lift gates. I’ve dressed myself to stand in those miserable temps for the three seconds of glory watching my ski racer cross the finish line.
It’s all about the layers, on cold days we wear thin long johns under thicker long johns under ski pants. I never wear just one pair of gloves.
But the first layer is the most important layer, the layer that protects your body from the ravages of winter weather – your skin! Before I climb out of the shower I layer on Lubriderm® Advanced Therapy Lotion. Because one day I’m on the slopes but the next day I might be covering a hotel opening in the Caribbean and I can’t show up with elephant skin
I might spend a fortune on cute ski clothes, but keeping my skin soft and hydrated is a bargain. Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion is available at Walgreens for $7.49.
I partnered with Lubriderm® on this post. All images are property of Luxury Travel Mom and may not be used without express permission.
