Don’t know where Mauritius is? Neither did I. When were invited to review Constance Hotel’s Le Prince Maurice I had to get out my map. This secluded island is on the other side of the African continent in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It’s a holiday destination most often visited by sun seeking europeans and safari goers looking for a respite after their time chasing the Big Five.
The website didn’t look family friendly to me. It seemed like the type of place you’d go for your honeymoon or to nap on the beach in solitude. I couldn’t have been more surprised at how welcoming they were to children. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this video is priceless.
